1. Information We Collect

We collect the following data when you use crond.io:

• Account data: Email address for authentication via magic links
• Monitoring data: Ping timestamps, exit codes, execution duration, and optional stdout/stderr from your cron jobs
• Usage data: API request logs, page views, and feature usage for service improvement

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and operate the monitoring service
• Send alert notifications when monitors fail or run late
• Display execution analytics and status pages
• Send service-related communications (downtime, security, billing)
• Improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is transmitted over TLS. Passwords are not stored — we use magic link authentication. API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Monitoring data is stored in PostgreSQL with TimescaleDB and is automatically purged according to your plan's retention policy.

4. Data Retention

Ping events and execution logs are retained based on your plan tier: 7 days (Free), 90 days (Pro), or 365 days (Enterprise). Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data only with: infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Service (hosting, email delivery), and when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (JWT session tokens). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Export your monitoring data via the API
• Close your account at any time

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
